IS YOUR LOGO VECTORIZED?

Find out if a logo or image is in vector format.

What is a vector file, image in vectors, curves, outlines or paths?
A vector or vectorized file contains an image defined by geometric lines. These lines can create closed contours, forming color-filled or empty areas. The vector design file can have geometric shapes and/or lines with vector-oriented rules. Vectors consist of line segments with a point of origin and an end, thus giving a certain direction. Vectors are not visible in the final drawing but give all the instructions for forming the straight and curved lines of the drawing, through their direction, angle and dimension. This type of file can only be edited with specific software. Vectorizing an image consists of transforming a bitmap matrix image, made up of pixels, into an image based on vectors.

What is image vectorization for?
It serves to simplify, increase the quality of an image and make it scalable (increase or decrease its size without loss of quality). It is widely used in laser, plasma and other cutting, because it allows machines to easily interpret the shapes of a design. It makes editing/changing shapes and colors a lot easier as there are well-defined areas of flat colors, but it is also possible to have color gradients and transparencies.

How much does it cost to vectorize a file?
Most of the time it costs between €17 and €97 ($18-$100 USD or £14-£80 GBP), but it largely depends on the complexity. A photo with people or an image of a coat of arms is much more difficult to vectorize than simple shapes or letters.
The analysis and quote are free and without obligation.

How long does vectorization take?
It can take anywhere from 1 hour to several days. We inform the delivery time in the Email we send to the customer.

How is delivery made?
It is usually by Email. In cases of heavier files, the customer can download them via a file transfer service.

What are the payment methods?
Bank transfer, PayPal, credit card or Wise. Accepted currencies: €, £, ₣, US$, CA$, AU$, NZ$, S$, HK$, Mex$, R$, ₺, among others. Payment details are provided in the email we send to the customer.

VECTOR LOGO in EPS / PDF / SVG / DXF / AI / CDR format

The drawing, logo or vector image is important to be able to use your file on CNC cutting machines, embroidery, digital transfer, serigraphy - silk screen printing, for example. The vector image uses points with certain coordinates and directions instead of bitmap based which is limited by resolution. The vectorized design is great for use in small or large sizes, always maintaining the highest quality.

The AI, CDR, EPS, PDF, DXF or SVG file allows you to have your logo or design in vector so it can be scaled without loss of quality. The Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) format is supported by all current Web browsers. DXF - Drawing Exchange Format is a CAD data file format developed by Autodesk for enabling data interoperability between AutoCAD and other programs.

The vector file of your logo is more defined

The logo, drawing or image is lighter and more defined because it is based on mathematical vectors. You can edit, modify and change the color easily as well as the line drawing, without losing quality.
It is also known as curve drawing or vector stroke, image trace or image tracing. Stick with a professional vector format to apply in various techniques such as: decals, tattoos, digital transfer, serigraphy (screen printing), vinyl cutting and vinyl sticker, CNC, laser cutting, machine embroidery, among others.

Need to know if your file is in vectors?

We quickly analyze your file and let you know if it is in vectors or if it is a bitmap image. We often think that PDF, EPS, CDR or AI files are vectorized but we find images inside these files. For example, it is not enough to enlarge a PDF, because it could have an image with high resolution instead of a vectorized Logo and thus deceive us! You need to open the file in your own software and carry out a correct analysis to know whether we are dealing with a vector file or a bitmap image.

Vector file or curve / line drawing can be converted to image automatically without losing quality, otherwise it is much more difficult. Once you have your vector file you can open it in professional programs such as Illustrator, Corel Draw, AutoCAD or Photoshop. The application of vector images is very wide because it can easily convert to other vector formats such as: .DXF, .DWG, .PDF, .AI, .CDR, .EPS, .SVG, among others.
